The risk remains, that when the war in Ukraine ends, their S Status will be ceased, and they will have to return home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because of this situation, many companies are trying to obtain a B permit for their concerned Ukrainian employees, if they are employed and doing a good job, in order to secure their stay in Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An application for a B permit is possible under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sem.admin.ch\/sem\/en\/home\/themen\/arbeit\/nicht-eu_efta-angehoerige\/grundlagen_zur_arbeitsmarktzulassung.html\">restrictive conditions:<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proof of a search in the EU \/ EFTA<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lack of local specialists for the position<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Overall economic interest<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The above points are unfortunately subjective and are applied differently by each canton. We recommend that you only do this if the salary you are offering is high enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Companies that want to obtain for their Ukrainian employees a B permit, but don\u2019t want to pay them as specialists above market, will unfortunately fail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"mailto:info@internationalhrs.com\">IHRS<\/a> advises you on all aspects of international employment.
